Example of doing "Good"
While reading the Dallas Morning News today, I saw an article titled "Gates pledges $10B for vaccines".
A very large example of having the right people making decisions regarding their temporary role as decision maker regarding deployment of great resources that come their way. A large part of the Microsoft fortune gets plowed back in a way that they say could save the lives of 2,000,000 or more children. Not bad. Not bad at all. Tangible, real, right!
I commend Bill and Melinda Gates and I'm glad smart people like them are involved in the distribution of world changing resources. It can be very hard to give away money and have it as effective as I believe they will make it.
I was a Microsoft shareholder throughout the 90's, so Bill's talents helped out my family a lot back then. So, keep going Bill and Melinda! You can see the good work their foundation is doing here:
